Tritan BP products are designed to deliver realistic architectural detail with lightweight polyurethane construction, hand-finished color work, and practical installation advantages for residential, commercial, interior, and exterior projects.
Our faux stone, brick, wood, concrete, and architectural products are produced from durable polyurethane materials.
Most products are produced within this general density range, with custom adjustments available for certain project needs.
Stick-A-Stone (every color and the starter strip), Lightning Ridge in Nature's Spirit, Gray Fox, Moonlight Gray and Cappuccino, and Earth's Valley and Canyon's Edge in Nature's Spirit and Gray Fox are Class A fire rated to ASTM E84 as standard, along with the matching corners, trims and outlet covers in those colors.
What Is Polyurethane?
Polyurethane is a versatile polymer used across many industries because it can be molded, shaped, colored, and finished to create durable, lightweight, and highly realistic decorative building products.
Polyurethane can capture the texture, grain, depth, and surface detail of stone, brick, wood, concrete, and architectural elements.
Compared to real stone, brick, wood, or concrete, polyurethane replicas are much lighter, making them easier to handle, ship, and install.
Polyurethane is known for strength, resilience, and long-lasting performance when properly installed and maintained.
It can be molded into panels, beams, trim, corners, moldings, architectural details, and other decorative features.
Polyurethane products can help create the look of premium materials without the same weight, labor, or installation complexity.
Most products require minimal maintenance. Light dusting or mild soap and water is usually sufficient when cleaning is needed.

What Should I Know About the Factory Finish?
Tritan BP products are hand-finished using exterior-grade water-based pigments. Our coloring system includes UV inhibitors to help support long-term appearance.
Our products are finished by artists, not machines or rigid templates. This helps create a more natural look, but also means some variation in tone, blending, color transition, and finish should be expected.
Outdoor products are exposed to sunlight, weather, temperature changes, moisture, and environmental conditions. Some fading and weathering is normal and expected over time.
To help reduce natural fading, we recommend applying a compatible light UV-protective topcoat every 3 to 5 years, depending on exposure. Always test first in a discreet area before applying broadly.
Touch-up kits are available for many colors and typically include color materials, instructions, a detailing brush, and a wiping cloth.
Custom Colors & Color Matching
Tritan BP offers many standard colors, and custom color matching may be available for certain projects.
Color matching cannot be done from a photo. A physical color sample must be sent to our facility so our team can evaluate the target color.
Custom color matching typically requires additional production time, often around 2–3 weeks depending on the product and project scope.
We will make reasonable efforts to match the requested color, but a 100% exact match cannot be guaranteed. Texture, substrate, lighting, and finish type can affect final appearance.
Minimum order requirements and lab fees may apply depending on the product type, color request, and production requirements. Contact customer care for details.
Product Images, Screens & Color Batches
Product color can appear different depending on screen settings, lighting, texture, batch variation, and surrounding finishes.
Computers, phones, tablets, and other devices display colors differently. Product images should be treated as a helpful guide, not a guaranteed exact color representation.
The same color can appear different across products because texture, relief, shadowing, and surface pattern affect how the finish is perceived.
Paint pigments and hand-finishing can vary between batches. We recommend ordering enough material to complete your project at one time rather than spreading orders months or years apart.
Slight differences in color, tone, blending, finish, and texture are normal and help create a more natural-looking finished installation.
How Lighting Affects Color
Lighting can dramatically change how a product looks after installation. We strongly recommend evaluating samples in the actual location where the product will be installed.
Bright lighting can make colors appear lighter and more vibrant, while dim lighting can make colors look darker or more muted.
Warm lighting may enhance yellow, brown, or red tones, while cool lighting may make colors appear slightly blue, gray, green, or muted.
Dimensional products create shadows and highlights. These can make the finish appear richer, darker, brighter, or more varied depending on light direction.
Hold or temporarily place samples where the product will be installed and view them at different times of day before making your final selection.

Product Information FAQs
Are all Tritan BP products fire rated?
No. Stick-A-Stone in every color, Lightning Ridge in Nature's Spirit, Gray Fox, Moonlight Gray and Cappuccino, and Earth's Valley and Canyon's Edge in Nature's Spirit and Gray Fox are Class A fire rated (ASTM E84) as standard. Other ranges and colors carry no fire rating. Fire rated does not mean fireproof — keep every panel clear of direct flame and follow local code clearances.
Can you adjust material density or hardness?
In some cases, yes. Depending on the project scope, Tritan BP may be able to adjust material hardness, softness, or density. Contact customer care with your project requirements.
Will my product look exactly like the online photo?
Product photos are a helpful guide, but screens, lighting, texture, batch variation, and surrounding finishes can affect how colors appear. We recommend ordering samples first.
Can you match a custom color from a photo?
No. Custom color matching requires a physical sample. Photos are not accurate enough for reliable color matching.
Do outdoor products fade?
Some fading and weathering is normal for products exposed to sunlight, weather, moisture, and environmental conditions. A compatible UV topcoat may help reduce fading over time.
Should I order all materials at once?
Yes. If possible, order enough material to complete your project at one time to help reduce the chance of visible batch-to-batch color differences.
Fire rating and materials
Fire Performance & US Fire Rating
Unless otherwise stated in the individual product description, Tritan BP decorative panels are independently tested to recognized European fire classification standards to support safe and informed installation decisions.
Our products have been tested in accordance with ASTM E84, the European standard for classifying the reaction to fire performance of construction materials.
Fire Classification:
Class A
This rating indicates:
- B – Very limited contribution to fire
- s1 – Minimal smoke production
- d0 – No flaming droplets or particles
This classification places Tritan BP panels among the highest-performing decorative wall siding materials available that are not classed as non-combustible.
What This Means in Practical Terms
The ASTM E84 Class A classification demonstrates that Tritan BP panels:
- Exhibit strong resistance to flame spread
- Produce very low levels of smoke
- Do not generate flaming droplets when exposed to fire conditions during testing

Important Installation Guidance
While Tritan BP panels meet stringent European fire performance standards, they are not fireproof and are not classified as non-combustible materials.
For safety and compliance reasons:
- Tritan BP panels must not be installed in locations where fireproof or non-combustible materials are required
- They must not be installed in areas where they may be directly exposed to open flames, direct heat sources, or continuous high temperatures
- Always follow applicable US Building Regulations, manufacturer installation instructions, and any requirements specified by installers, surveyors, insurers, or building control officers
Where installations are planned near fireplaces, log burners, cookers, or other heat-producing appliances, appropriate clearances, heat shielding, and protective materials must be used, and professional guidance should be obtained.

A few things to be aware of:
Color Application: All of Tritan BP products are hand finished by artist to ensure natural color blending and tones. Color tones are accurately applied, but thanks to our dedicated team, the color blend and transition is as natural as possible to ensure the most authentic replica possible. The colors are not applied by machine or template and thus some variation is expected and encouraged.
Exterior Applications: Our products are produced, and hand finished and they are designed to be installed both indoors and outdoors. It's important to note that some degree of fading may occur due to factors like sun exposure, regional climate, and other environmental conditions. To proactively minimize the natural fading process that takes place over time, we highly recommend applying a light coat of UV topcoat to the surface every 3 to 5 years. The frequency of application should be based on the product's level of exposure to sunlight. This protective measure will help preserve the product's appearance and reduce the effects of fading. Prior to applying the UV topcoat across the entire product line, we strongly advise conducting a small test on a discreet location of the panel. This allows you to assess the compatibility of the UV coating with our products and ensures the desired results without compromising the aesthetics.
Touch up kits: Touch up kits are available for purchase separately for all the colors. Standard Touch up kids include all necessary colors to replicate the desired color effect, instructions, detailing brush and wiping rag.
Custom Colors: We have many standard colors to choose from and we also provide color matching services as well. If needing a color match, there is a minimal color lab fee. We will do everything within reason to match the color needed, but we cannot guarantee a 100% color match. Substrates and textures can make colors appear differently. Color matching typically requires an additional 2-3 weeks in production. Please note that a physical sample of the color must be sent to our facility for matching. Product Images: Computer, phone, tablets and alike have different pixel and resolution settings that can and will affect how products are displayed on the screen. We recommend requesting a sample(s) prior to ordering to ensure you have chosen the right color and texture for your project. Colors that are the same can also appear different based on the texture of the material you are selecting.
Color Batches: Paint pigments can vary approximately 10%-15% between batches. It is recommended that customers order enough material to complete their project vs, staggering the project over an extended amount of time such as 6-months to a year. Color pigments can be slightly different from different batches and though this would not cause an issue in most cases, if needing to match an order months or years apart this could cause one to notice some variation.
