Faux Stone Siding
Real stone siding needs a footing, a mason, scaffolding and a dumpster. It adds weight the wall has to carry and weeks the project has to wait.
Tritan BP panels are lightweight polyurethane, cast to hold the texture and depth of real stone. They install over any flat exterior wall with construction adhesive and screws, cut with a standard saw, and a competent DIYer can clad a wall in a weekend.
No mortar. No footing. No scaffolding. No dumpster.
What you can install them over
The rule is simple: a solid, clean, flat surface.
That covers plywood and OSB sheathing, concrete block, poured concrete, stucco, brick and cement board. The surface needs to be sound, dry, free of loose material, and flat enough that the panel sits against it without rocking.
If the surface is crumbling, damp, or moves when you push it, fix that first. Panels are decorative — they will follow whatever is behind them, and they will not hold a failing wall together.

How many panels your wall takes
Coverage runs from 6.4 to 7.55 square feet per panel depending on the collection, so a 10 ft by 8 ft wall takes somewhere between 11 and 13.
That figure is the coverage you actually get once the panels interlock, not the size of the sheet. We would rather you ordered one panel too many than ran short two rows from the top.

Being straight about the outdoors
These panels are built to go outside. They have been installed in Florida heat and humidity, northern freeze-thaw winters, coastal salt air and desert sun, and they hold up in all of it. Exterior use is what they were designed for, not something they tolerate.
They will also fade over time. So will your car, your front door, your siding and your patio furniture. Sun does that to everything that lives outdoors, and anyone selling exterior cladding who does not mention it is hoping you will not ask.
Ours are hand-finished with exterior-grade water-based pigments containing UV inhibitors, which slows it down considerably. But some fading and weathering across years is normal and expected, and our warranty says so plainly rather than burying it in a clause.
What to do about it. A compatible light UV-protective topcoat every three to five years, depending on how exposed the wall is, keeps the color close to where it started. Test it on a hidden area first. Touch-up kits are available in most colors for cut edges and scuffs.
What that means for you. If you want an exterior wall that looks after itself untouched for twenty years, no faux stone will do that honestly, including ours. Give it an afternoon every few years and it will keep looking the way it did the day it went up.
The warranty, in plain terms
25-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
It is prorated: 100% covered for the first two years, stepping down across the term. It covers the product only — not labor, removal, reinstallation or freight.
It does not cover normal fading or weathering, because that is not a defect, it is what outdoors does. It also excludes power washing, harsh chemicals, impact and storm damage.
Panels are decorative, not structural. They do not replace code-required building materials, and it is the installer's job to meet local code.

Which collections go outside
All our faux stone collections are rated for exterior use:
- Lightning Ridge — deep stacked stone, large interlocking panels, tongue-and-groove edges that hide the joints
- Earth's Valley — rugged weathered ledge stone
- Canyon's Edge — tighter stacked profile
- Harvest Ledge — long horizontal courses
- Traditions — classic cut stone
- Cotswold Stone — warm limestone character
- Icelandic Lava — dark volcanic texture
Brick outside: Aged Brick, British Brick, Cottage Lane. Concrete outside: the full concrete collection.
Stick-A-Stone is interior only. It is peel-and-stick and not for exterior walls.
Fire rating
Class A to ASTM E84 applies to specific collections and colors. The rated list is on our fire and compliance page, and every product page names its own rating where it has one.
Need Class A in a color that is not listed? Most of our range can be produced in a Class A version to order. There is an upcharge and a lead time — call or text 866-771-2345 and we will quote it.
Class A does not mean fireproof. Keep panels clear of direct flame and follow local clearances.
Order it all at once
Pigments are applied by hand, so batches vary slightly. Order enough to finish the wall in one go rather than spreading orders months apart — a second batch later may not sit invisibly against the first.
See the color in your own light
Stone reads differently outdoors. Daylight, the brick or stucco beside it, which way the wall faces — all of it changes what you see. A screen cannot tell you that.
