Coverage varies by collection, which matters more than it sounds. British Brick covers 6.4 sq ft a panel and concrete covers 7.83 — on an 80 sq ft wall that is the difference between 11 panels and 13.

What you are not paying for
No mason. Real stone veneer needs a skilled trade. These go up with construction adhesive and screws, and a competent DIYer can do a wall in a weekend.
No footing. Real stone is heavy enough to need structural support. These are lightweight polyurethane.
No scaffolding, no dumpster, no pallet delivery.
That is where the real difference sits. Panels are not always cheaper per square foot than the cheapest real stone — but the finished wall is, by a long way, once labor is in.
